We are pleased to share the newest member to GOALS Haiti’s team. Welcome Kety Cameau our new Program Manager.
Kety comes to us after for years on community and youth development in Cite Soliel. Kety is an advocate for kids and youth and she started her career as a school teacher then worked her way up to an elementary school Director. She has a degree in law and accounting. Kety is passionate about children's health and wellbeing and has done extensive work with children who have experienced trauma such as the devastating Earthquake in 2010. She has focused on educating communities on children’s and women’s rights, and awareness on Gender Based Violence. Kety is committed and motivated to bring positive change to the kids growing up in Haiti.
Kety said that “I wanted to work with GOALS because of the methods that GOALS Haiti applies in teaching kids to have a brighter future. The impact I hope to have on these kids is to see every kid in the GOALS communities be able to express themselves well, grow healthy, and be able to know how to accomplish whatever goal they set for themselves. I am willing to work hard to be successful and collaborate with all the GOALS staff who were there before me so we can accomplish the GOALS Haiti objective.
